Affordable homes were the vision of developer Tony Ferreira, in this quiet peaceful area of West Ferris, in the beautiful city of North Bay, when this subdivision was developed 20 years ago. Residents of the area enjoy exposed bedrock, maple and oak trees, teems of wildlife in the currently undeveloped privately owned land behind many houses on the East end of the street.  Kids play and build forts. It is an area where in years past, the street closed down for block parties and where neighbours are not afraid to say "hello" and people look out for each other. This is what the current owners of this home fell in love with when they became proud owners of this solid home. Great curbside appeal aside, upon walking inside the first thing that hit them was the open and airy feel of the living room, dining room and kitchen. It was filled with natural light. The fact that there were only two bedrooms upstairs didn't bother them, downstairs there was a third and most importantly, a huge family room that would house their "board game" playing table for those evenings where they would have friends over for game night. The second bathroom downstairs was close enough that someone getting up from the table wouldn't lose a roll by having to venture to the main bathroom upstairs. The house pleased the foodie in them as well, with a great working U-shaped kitchen outfitted with stone tops, proximity to the dining room and patio doors off to the side deck and their BBQ for grilling a perfect steak or roasting a chicken. If they chose to be away from the view from the street, the rear raised deck was an option where they could sit and have a quiet outdoor dinner, overlooking the fenced yard and undeveloped land beyond the fence.
