Monthly Mortgage Rate Updates (Canada / GTA)

The Bank of Canada held its policy rate steady at 2.75% on June 4, 2025. This decision was influenced by ongoing global economic volatility, trade uncertainties, and stable inflation. The current Prime Rate remains at 4.75%.

Current Best Mortgage Rates:

    • Variable Rates: 4.05% (Prime -0.90%)
    • Fixed Rates: 3.91% (5-year term)

Experts predict potential rate cuts later this year, depending on economic conditions and inflation trends.
