Renovations for Affordable Housing project for Riverside Community

A proposal is in the works for a heritage building located in Toronto’s Riverside neighbourhood at 685 Queen Street East, pending the approvals of a minor variance application, site plan control, and rental housing demolition and conversion by Streetcar Developments. The proposal designed by Kirkor Architects Planners would renovate a heritage co-op building and create rear 5-storey addition.

The project would see the Co-op partner with the City of Toronto to create more affordable housing.
