The Newboro lock station is very unique, as it's located at the south end of a narrow isthmus that separates Upper Rideau Lake and Newboro Lake. Just over an hour from Ottawa, 3 hours from Toronto and 40 minutes to Kingston, this cottage is a fantastic location for getting away from that hectic city life. Less than 10 minutes to Westport or Elgin, you can find restaurants, shopping, groceries and more!
