It is good to close the gap between women and their housing needs, and see further projects coming to market that positioned women in positions of being a leader. ”

Carla Busnardo, a board collect with Soroptimist International of Vancouver, shares Guerrera’s sentiments and tells that women are empowered when they maintain control over their lives, including where they live.

“Holding a lease in their name stature empowers women economically but facilitates stability and families in accomplishing financial independence and housing wellbeing, ” she said. “This is definitely innovative project that we are suggesting in the Broadway Corridor; it will result in a community for working, senior & women-led families where they can power one another, creating a stable and in good physical shape environment for them to live in. ”
